Today Microsoft have launched a beta test of their new search engine at http://www.live.com/

First impressions are that it looks quite a bit different to a normal search engine -  for example there is  a continuous slider control to scroll through results rather than the familiar concept of page 1 pg 2 etc.

It will be interesting to see if this does to Google  what Internet Explorer did to Netsacpe in the Mid 90’s though with Googles much larger revenue stream – I suspect that won’t happen.
